TCAA 2010 Convention

Buena Vista Palace at Walt Disney World Resort October 2-5

An Invitation from the President

In a world filled with all the latest electronic gadgets advertised as the next great time savers, somehow we seem to have less and less time for our families, our friends, and ourselves.  This year’s TCAA convention at the beautiful Lake Buena Vista Palace Hotel at Disney World Resort gives us the greatest of opportunities to reconnect with all three of the most important parts of our lives.

I know, I know, it’s the economy, stupid!  But personally I can’t afford to miss convention. Each year I gain so much - new technical understandings, supplier contacts that save me money, new and renewed friendships, and time with my family. This year’s convention offers help with succession planning, ways to save money and control costs on workers compensation, economic forecasts, Contractor College, and Learning Exchange.  We also will be conducting a labor management roundtable with BAC representatives.

This will certainly be an opportunity  to share ideas that can only be good for the whole industry.  And, we are partnering with IMI to offer a LEED Certification Program, the only one of its kind in the nation. Certainly don’t forget Mickey Mouse and all his friends.  As one of our contractors said upon learning about our venue, “Great! Now I can have a family vacation and also go to convention.” So when you might ask yourself if this year is a good time to go to convention, my reply is

Absolutely, the time is now!
